LEGADO IBERICO – “THE KING OF PORK” AT “THE NEW VIET GASTRONOMY JOURNEY”

The Elpozo company producing Legado Iberico is a family-owned company since 1935, they own 250,000m2 with capacity: process up to 20,000 pigs (2,450 tons), ~5000 people workforces, 30,000 outlets, 82 countries exporting and comply with the CIP (Integrated Process Control).

Iberico pork is called “The King of Pork”, or the best pork in the world. Iberico pigs are raised in certified and totally controlled farms, located in natural grounds where environment and animal welfare is fully respected. The producer fully controls all the processes from the breeding to the feeding, and finally to the cut of the meat.

Legado Elpozo has a specific feed mill for Iberico pigs that allows them to offer a higher quality of healthy oleic acids in the meat resulting in a product of superior quality. Iberico pig is fed with their own feed which is based on cereals and Olive Pulp to achieve a result in Oleic Acid of 52% which allows the final taste and quality of the meat is rich in flavor, marbled, clean, nutritious and delicious.
